OVERVIEW

The Kumho Crugen Premium (HN) is a touring. all season tire manufactured for SUV and passenger vehicles. This is the original equipment tire of select Hyundai vehicles models.

The tire offers great all weather traction and it grips the road well in dry. wet and winter weather thanks to the larger road contact area and the micro-sipes in the tread pattern. The micro-sipes provide additional biting edges for winter weather traction and they ensure safety in all weather conditions. The circumferential grooves help resist hydroplaning in deep water by eliminating water from beneath the tire footprint. The better traction ensures greater safety all year.

The larger road contact area and the wide rounded outside edges provide a better road feel. The enhanced road feedback allows the driver to confidently control the tire in differing road conditions. while the shoulder tread increases the model’s steering responsiveness. The steering is more accurate and swift in its response to the driver’s commands. The better steering responsiveness improves the controllability of the tire. making its handling effortless.

The tread design’s pitch variation makes the driving experience quieter. The pitch variation lowers the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle by creating sound frequencies that cancel out road and pattern noise while the tires are in motion. As the sound is cancelled out the moment it is created. it makes the drive quiet and comfortable. The tread pattern also helps lower the road vibrations felt by the passengers. as the individual tread blocks absorb the shock of driving.

The special tire compound used in the manufacture of the tire increases the life of the tread. It distributes the heat and driving pressure equally across the tread area to prevent irregularities in the wear. The tire is forced to wear out evenly. which enables its longer use. which in turn extends its life.

The Crugen Premium (HN)’s sidewall was designed to provide protection to the rims from any accidental curb damage. As the tire does not allow the rims to be damaged during the drive. it prevents costly rim changes.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold. the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
