The Ultra Grip Ice WRT features a directional tread design molded with a Winter Grip compound that performs well in cold. wet. and wintry conditions. Sweeping grooves evacuate water and slush efficiently out of the tires to enhance traction on the roads. while the Ultra Grip Ice WRT’s sipes bite into the road to further enhance traction. Helping with cornering is the angled three-dimensional TreadLock Technology sipes which are located on the tire’s shoulders. To improve starting and stopping power are the 2D sipes which are laid out across the center rib. The Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT is Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified. which means it passes the auto industry’s severe snow service requirements. For maximum traction and control. it is recommended that the Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT be installed in sets of four.
